In 2011, John Dellaria was honored as the first inductee into the Intercoiffure Hall of Fame.
He is also the receipient of the prestigious Chevalerie Award. Intercoiffure Mondial, the international trade association of qualified hair salons, has presented Chevalerie Awards since 1972 to recognize members who have made outstanding contributions to the development of their trade over a sustained period of time.
Emblematic of his pre-eminence if the field of hair design, John served as President of Intercoiffure Magazine and as Fashion Director for six consecutive years. He has received over 55 awards and honors for his artistry including “Man of the Year” – Intercoiffure, “Top Ten Role Models” – Modern Salon Magazine, “Oner International Award” – Lo Zeffiro Milan, Italy, “Super Styler” – National Beauty Editors.
Today, John continues "Changing Styles" and has created Shuga professional hair care products for consumers and hair stylists worldwide.
